Hi everyone at dmusic, I've been gone for some time, and only looking around here once and a while. I do have a blog now at mtekk.weblogs.us which I am much more focused on maintaining. I am working on the new frontpage for Weblogs.us aswell as that blog provider is becoming more community orientated, feel free to leave comments on my blog as I am more likely to respond to them there.

12 Days 4 me - 15 days 4 jmweirick - 5 days 4 Jackie
first day of track, 4.5Miles in under 23min. damn fast for the first run in over 4 months, and to add to that it was only ~30 degrees F. Cold as hell to be running in, and i am sore as hell. standing is somewhat painfull, that's what i get for not running during the winter, got to run allot this summer, more then twice a week, at least 5 times a week, so I can kick some major ass in CC in my senior year.

13 Days 4 me - 16 days 4 jmweirick - 6 days 4 Jackie

(whoops screwed up the days, that's what happens when i don't update every day, they should now be correct for the 13 of March)
Well I hope Kristen had a great birthday yesterday, I sepent the day running aroung getting spikes, shoes and socks for track which starts monday, getting rid of some recycleables (Aluminium cans) and getting some checks deposited. It seems that now I'm a Asics runner, spikes and training shoes. They didn't have my size of spikes at Gear so we went to Marathon sports, who didn't have them either, this pair of Adidas spikes fit like a sock, which is good, but they arn't intended for a 1600 and 3200 runner (1 and 2 mile), they were for a metric mile (1500) and mile (1600) runner, classified as medium distance, which wouldn't cut it for me. So we have to order the spikes and hopefully they'll get here befor the first meet, but it really doesn't matter, since I am taking track seriously this year, I am really only using it once again as training to prepair for CC in the fall.
I finally got a good connection with Valve's steam thingy, and downloaded my Half-Live 2 package that came with the ATi Radeon 9800XT that I put in a computer I built for my dad's work. It works well on my brother's 1GHz P3 384MB DDR (yeah it's one of the special Soyo boards that is cool but you can't OC a P3 1Ghz, due to internal isssues in the chip.) with a 128MB Radeon 9600 64bit memory interface (It's some Rosewell card that uses ATi chips, it's a good card for only 70USD), my 866MHz P3 576MB PC133 nVidia Gforce4000 MX 128MB card it's ok but that extra ~133MHz and a Radeon 9600 would help allot. I downloaded CS

ource (Counter Strike Source) which is just as sweet as Half-Life 2, allot of eye candy, the only advantage that i have is 5.1 sound, but really emmulated 5.1, I've only got a soundblaster live! Digital, so it's only 4 channel annaloge and 5.1 Digital. But the directional sound kick ass. I have to say that if you don't have Half-Life 2 and you have a box that can run it, get it, the min specs say you need a 1.2Ghz, but that's because of the crappy sub 2.0Ghz P4s that worked slower then my box. My uncle was able to get HL2 to work on a 700 P3 with 256Mb ram and an old 3dfx Vodoo 5500 at normal quality/ the default, detail and resolution can be reduced from 800x600 and Medium to lower values. It is also worth the money to build/buy a new box that can run HL2, the game is better then the screen shots.
I did a video stress test in CS

ource with default graphic settings, and it averaged 47.2 frames a second, I believe that is pretty damn good, and it looked good when testing also.
In other news there is a CD, the Bill Album, that a freind of mine made, it's going to be up on iTunes and some free sites, I did the new CD cover and i was going to post the songs but Ubersandard has failed me, or the cd quality is fucking up LAME causing nothing but silence at 32Kbps in a variable bit rate, alt set extreme, conditions. Petty claims that he is going to make a remix of the Bill Album, but it makes no sence since it is a mix of message recordings to rap beats, that are covers of RIAA songs (

). It is only 20Min long at max, the pre release cd was longer, but had fewer tracks, I have a feeling that we will be activly working on making a it a true LP with something like 16 tracks that are more origional then the current, and possibly containing the current tracks.

Well this time they, WD, decided to replace my drive with a 200GB Referbished drive, a two year newer modle then my previous but it makes allot more noise. But it stores 100MB more data, and I have a Vantec HD cooler on it, which is keeping is cool to the touch, imagin that, this one isn't going to go bad on me.
School is being a bitch, too much HW in AP Calc AB and the class isn't as easy as the previous math courses, oh well I guess I have to bear with it and try to get an A, to keep my top 5% class ranking. Between work, school and hardware problems, which are now resolved, I have had literally Zero time to have fun.
I'm prepairing to launch about seven different things on DeviantArt, including three web interfaces, one of which is going live in a few weeks. Yeah I'm bussy as all get out.

My 200Gb hd decided to be a bitch again. I've lost allot of data because MS Windblows XP decided it was time to get rid of some stuff, I'm really pissed off, i lost allot of music, along with web stuff that i created. arg back to square one. :frustrated:
Update:
Well it seems the problem is 1000000000% Micro$oft Windblows XP SP1's falt, it's 48bit addressing isn't working so 132 Binary Gigs are the max it can address, a little over 120GB, God Damn it, so that's why i've run into this problem of corrutpion and data loss, windblows started writing over the stuff on the begining of the drive. So i need to figure out the version and type of my Ultra ATA 100 card and get a bios update for it so i can use the last 60GB on my drive. arg this sucks. Time to get some DVD+R media and back up the stuff i don't need on it (Music videos, movies) and the important content (Web stuff that i've created). Shit, that's right my DVD-ROM drive can't read dvd+ media, crap, need a new drive too.
arg!
i'm getting about 2.3-2.7 Megabit service/connection tonight, download speeds up to 300Kilobytes a second, too bad my HD is sorta 'full'
well attempting to flash the ata100 card to get it to accept correct 48bit addressing hope this works
